Objectives

  • Increase brand awareness by communicating relevant topics regarding the premium brand’s sports sponsorship commitments
  • Acquisition of foreign journalists / foreign correspondents
  • Promotion of Audi brand through international media (online and print)

Tasks

  • Cooperation with sponsoring partners such as FC Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, FC Barcelona, Deutscher Skiverband or Kieler Woche
  • Editorial support including research, preparation and distribution of press releases
  • Maintenance of the Audi Media Center for sports topics
  • Support of the Audi Sport Twitter channel
  • Media work, in particular arranging interviews
  • Inviting the media representatives
  • Planning and implementation of interviews with global media, such as EFE, AFP, ESPN, and CGTN
  • On-site support of the media representatives
  • Evaluation and media observation

Results

  • Successful implementation of five 1:1 interviews with Robert Lewandowski, Thiago Alcantara and Thomas Müller, among others
  • Placement of interviews in 85 international media, such as L’Equipe, Eurosports, BeIn Sports, AS, Sport1 and Daily Mail
