mc Group Strengthens Egypt’s Tourism Outreach in China Through Strategic Roadshows
Engaging China’s Travel Industry Through Targeted Events
mc Group partnered with the Egyptian Tourism Authority (ETA) to deliver a series of tourism roadshows across China, connecting Egypt’s tourism vision with one of the world’s most dynamic travel markets.
Held in Beijing, Shanghai, and Guangzhou, the events brought together leading Chinese travel operators, agencies, and tourism stakeholders. Through strategic communication planning and event coordination, mc Group created a platform for direct engagement between Egyptian tourism representatives and key industry partners.
The roadshows featured presentations, discussions, and networking sessions led by ETA CEO Ahmed Youssef, providing insights into Egypt’s evolving tourism landscape and strengthening dialogue with Chinese travel professionals.
Driving International Visibility for Egypt’s Tourism Developments
Through coordinated communication and on-site event management, mc Group ensured strong industry engagement and visibility for Egypt’s latest tourism developments.
A key focus of the presentations was the opening of the Grand Egyptian Museum in November 2025—one of the most significant cultural tourism milestones in recent years. The roadshows also highlighted Egypt’s diverse travel experiences, from Nile cruises and cultural heritage sites to Red Sea resorts, desert adventures, and wellness tourism.
mc Group is proud to see that Egypt received the “Most Promising Destination 2026” award from the Chinese travel platform Tongcheng at a tourism event in Shanghai, reflecting growing interest from Asian markets.
The initiative demonstrates mc Group’s ability to translate strategic objectives into impactful communication platforms—connecting destinations with global industry partners and audiences.
