MEDIA CONSULTA has been confirmed as the second largest PR agency in Germany with more than a 34 million euros turnover in 2008

MEDIA CONSULTA (MC), the specialist integrated communications agency, has defended its position. With a turnover of more than 34 million Euros in 2008, MC has been ranked as the second largest PR agency in Germany (source: PR Journal). MC’s position continues after seeing an increase in turnover of around 16 percent (turnover 2007: 29.3 million Euros).MC has substantially expanded its client base and has especially grown in the brands sector. The agency has been acquiring new accounts and assuring existing accounts, which, amongst others, include Lidl, Vodafone and Generali Investments. In the field of political communications, MC has successfully secured accounts with the German Bundestag, the Federal Ministry of Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth as well as the State Governments of Hesse and North Rhine-Westphalia. MC anticipates a growth of more than ten percent for 2009. This is because the agency is able to compensate possible domestic accounts’ reductions with its international accounts. With 298 employees in Germany, MC experienced an overall turnover of 64.7 million Euros in 2008. So MC is also the third largest German advertising agency (source: “Horizont” and “WuV” 2008 Turnover Survey, 12 March 2009).
